Starting with stays on or after April 1, 2026, an accommodation tax will be introduced by Hokkaido and the City of Sapporo.

●Effective Date
The accommodation tax will apply to stays from April 1, 2026 (Wednesday) onward.
Please note that even if your reservation was made before April 1, 2026, the accommodation tax will still apply to stays on or after this date.
●Accommodation Tax Rate
The accommodation tax will be levied per person, per night, according to the accommodation rate.
The room rate excludes meal charges (such as breakfast), consumption tax, and other similar fees.
