In recent years, there have been increasing reports of portable battery chargers (power banks) overheating, emitting smoke, or catching fire, both in Japan and abroad.
To ensure a safe and secure stay for all our guests, we kindly ask for your cooperation with the following precautions when using portable battery chargers in your room.
– Please refrain from charging portable batteries when you are not in the room.
– When charging a mobile device using a portable battery, or when charging the battery itself using the in-room power outlets, please avoid placing it in the following areas:
– Near windows exposed to direct sunlight
– On flammable materials such as beds, sheets, or curtains
– Near windows exposed to direct sunlight
– On flammable materials such as beds, sheets, or curtains
– While charging, please ensure the device remains in a visible location where you can monitor its condition at all times to prevent any potential issues.
– Do not use a mobile battery that is damaged, swollen, or generating abnormal heat.
Should any of the above situations be observed during housekeeping, our staff may move the battery to a safer location as a safety precaution. We appreciate your understanding.
