We would like to inform you that our hotel will be changing the method of collecting the Kyoto City accommodation tax as follows:
Change Date: For reservations made from November 10, 2025, 0:00 onwards
Change Details: The accommodation tax will change from being included in the room rate (inclusive tax) to being paid separately (exclusive tax).
Therefore, for guests who have made reservations on or after November 10, 2025, and have already paid the accommodation fee, we kindly ask that you pay only the accommodation tax at the front desk upon check-in.

Accommodation Tax
The following amounts will be charged per person per night, according to the following categories:
Accommodation fee less than 20,000 yen: 200 yen
Accommodation fee of 20,000 yen or more but less than 50,000 yen: 500 yen
Accommodation fee of 50,000 yen or more: 1,000 yen
*The accommodation fee refers to the “room rate (room charge and service charge)” and does not include meal costs or consumption tax. [Effective March 1, 2026 onwards]
For each guest per night, the following amounts will apply depending on the accommodation fee:
Accommodation fee less than 6,000 yen: 200 yen
Accommodation fee of 6,000 yen or more but less than 20,000 yen: 400 yen
Accommodation fee of 20,000 yen or more but less than 50,000 yen: 1,000 yen
Accommodation fee of 50,000 yen or more but less than 100,000 yen: 4,000 yen
Accommodation fee of 100,000 yen or more: 10,000 yen
